My Day of Fantastic Mini's

This was my biggest day of mini shoots yet...and I actually ended it with another shoot of my brothers family, but I will save this for another blog post :) So needless to say I was TIRED after this day. But as I look back over the images of all of these beautiful families, I am so thankful. Thankful to have some truly amazing clients that I have known for years and who still give me the honor of photographing their families.

Enjoy all of these beautiful people! I think they all are pretty awesome folks!!

Merry Christmas!!!

Sweet Emma is Here!!

This little doll baby belongs to one of my favorite Bride & Groom of 2012. I have LOVED following her momma's pregnancy, everything from announcing that they were expecting to finding out they are having a little girl. One of the many beautiful things about being a Photographer is you get to meet these incredible people and watch them through amazing journeys...and if we are lucky we get to Photograph them along the way.

She is just soooo beautiful!

I am sooo very happy for you guys! Miss Emma is
very lucky to have such amazing parents and family.
I can't wait to watch her grow!
Love,
Lisa

3 Months & Christmas Lights

This little cutie is 3 months old. She was pretty serious throughout our shoot....which is usually the norm for a 3 month old. I have no doubt I will see lots of smiles at 6 months :)

I loved that her mommy worked hard to get their Christmas tree up for our shoot, it served as such a perfect back drop. She looks like the best present ever laying under that tree ;)

I think her eyes are going to be just as blue and beautiful as her big brothers.

This photos stuff is hard work. We flipped on the vacuum to help with some fussiness...and she was snoozing away. Love it!

I can't wait to see the changes that 6 months brings!!
Have a wonderful Christmas and I will see you again before
we know it :)

Like a Breath of Fresh Air

I can't even begin to tell you how badly I need a shoot like this. Of course we were freezing...I mean FREEZING. But the light, the glorious beautiful light...oh it  made it all worth it for me :) I had been on a kick with shoot after shoot of dark overcast days or blinding piercing light and I felt a bit in a funk. I will say I smiled and was so happy editing these pictures. it was honestly a total mood lifter for me.

Ok, enough about me...because this should be all about this beautiful family! And their super cute little guy with the prettiest blue eyes and eyelashes 10 miles long. Plus he was turning one! One year shoots are some of my favorites.

See look at those eyelashes. I have seen some LONG eyelashes in my photo days (including my youngest) but I think he wins the long eyelash award.

This is the moment Daddy walked up, I think it is safe to say someone is a Daddy's boy!

Ahhhh....light :)

This one cracks me up, it is like he is thinking "Yeah, yeah...I will hold your silly chalkboard that announces I am one, if we can be done with this nonsense" :)

Cake time! And since it was so bitter cold he had to stay fully dressed but I think he liked the cake none the less.

I hope the birthday boy had a fantastic party!
It was so great to spend a cold evening with you guys!
I absolutely LOVE what we captured!
