Marshall Family

I really wanted to get this session blogged today. Terry is one of the brave men that serve this amazing Country that we live in. He was home on a very short visit before heading back over seas. I was honored when his wife Sarah contacted me for family pictures. Despite a lot of bad weather, we finally settled on meeting at The Foundry Art Center. Terry, thank you for the sacrifices you make to keep us safe. I am amazed and so thankful for the men and women like Terry who are fighting to protect our freedom every day.

Now onto this beautiful family.

Here is Terry and his beautiful wife Sarah......

And their beautiful children....they are very close in age. I think Sarah said 11 months apart. They were so cute together and just the best of friends. Very fun to watch.

When I asked this little princess how old she was....THREE. I LOVE when kids show me on their fingers. This lasts for such a short time and then they just start telling you. So it always makes me smile when I catch these little short lived moments...like showing your age with your fingers. :)

What a little beauty!
Gotta love the goofy smiles. He is such a cutie!

Thank you Marshall family for taking some precious time out of your short visit together to meet me. I hope these pictures make you smile and hold you over until you are all together again.
Happy Memorial Day!

Williams Vow Renewal

I recently had the opportunity to second shoot The Williams vow renewal. Julie Missey was the photographer and great to work with...plus sometimes it is nice to have someone else in the drivers seat so to speak. :)

They had the wedding party dance down the isle..so much fun. Here they are getting ready to head on out and get their dance on!

Anna looked so beautiful...here she is after a little turn. LOVE this image, one of my favorite I captured.
Such a beautiful Church.....and the ceremony was so beautiful. I went home and told my hubby I wanted to renew our vows. :)

I thought this little trio reading the scripture was just the cutest thing. They did a great job.

Thank you Williams and Julie Missey. Glad I was able to be there for the ceremony.
Stay tuned...LOTS coming up. Lots of families, engagement session, two super cute little rocker dudes...and an awesome reception for a destination wedding couple! Can't wait to show you all the awesome peeps. Check back soon.

Trio of Boys

Father's Day is right around the corner...and I got a call from Craig's girlfriend to schedule a session of Craig's 3 adorable boys for Father's Day (wasn't that thoughtful). We did a quick morning session on Mother's Day morning. These boys are so adorable....and the eyelashes...oh my...the eyelashes. Why is it that I have stubs for eyelashes and these little guys have eyelashes that would make any girl jealous!

Biggest......
Littlest......
Right in the middle......

I love the cheezy smiles I get from boys. It cracks me up!

Look at those eyes....we became fast friends. I seriously thought about how I could sneak him home with me....I have 3 little girls who would love a new little brother. lol! Totally kidding...but he was a TOTAL doll!!

Here is Craig...I had to end with this. I had the boys all lined out, working on getting those nice natural smiles and Craig jumped on top of them. The boys cracked up....you can just tell what a fun Dad he is and that his boys just adore him.

Happy Father's Day (a little early) Craig....I hope you have a fantastic day with your 3 little guys!

Big Smiles and Lots of Fun!

Sonja contacted me for this extended family session...her family and her sister in-law Dawn and her children. We met at New Town, one of my all time favorite places. The kids were so much fun...we did a lot of walking and exploring. I really enjoyed my time with this crew, felt like I was hanging out with friends.

Here they are, love this image in black and white.

Poor Adam, stuck in between two sweet little girls who wanted to love on him :)

See that expression on his face...that is the "do I really have to hold my little sisters hand" expression. Priceless!

Miss Cassie...what person can look at the adorable Miss Cassie and her infectious smile and not smile themselves. This little cutie pie had energy galore...and she was just the happiest little thing. I think her permanent facial expression is a smile. LOVE it.

Adam was quite sore during our shoot. I think I was lucky to even get him to sit down for a few. He had a good reason though, he had been building a new fence on his land all weekend. I am quite impressed with that...I can't even get my kids to pick up their shoes. Were am I going wrong???

But I must say, I love this picture of Adam.

Oh and Miss Ashley, she was my easy peasy girl. She was completely comfortable in front of the camera and she has some beautiful blue eyes!

Thank you guys for meeting me, I know you both drove a long way to get to New Town and I appreciate it. I hope you love your pictures!

Tu-tu's & Pinkalicious......

Danielle contacted me to schedule a session of her, her boyfriend Matt and Matt's adorable daughter Taylor. We met in the morning (LOVE morning sessions) at Missouri Botanical Gardens..and with plans to make another stop at The Jewel Box (another personal favorite). As soon as I met Miss Taylor I knew it was going to be a great morning. She is such a cutie but she also has the best personality and she loves the camera...and as you will see below, the camera loves her!

Danielle put so much thought into all of Taylor's outfits...I felt like we were having a little mini fashion shoot. And I brought the tu-tu...they brought one of the best books ever...Pinkalicious! What an awesome combo.

I really enjoyed my time with this trio...they have such a sweet relationship and I loved watching the dynamics of it. Taylor is very lucky to have Danielle in her life...and visa versa.
On to the beauty that is these three....
