A Seriously Beautiful Family!!

This family is so beautiful....you can take one look at these pictures and see that. But what I saw after just minutes of meeting them really was beautiful. They are just so sweet together, so loving, funny and truly enjoyed being together. And when I asked Hanna and Christian (two teenagers) to hold their parents hands or even each others...they didn't bat an eye. We walked all around New Town and they were always hand in hand or arm in arm and the camera wasn't even on them. I knew from emailing Sandy that I would really like her, but almost immediately I felt like I had known her forever, just such an easy person to be around. It was such a pleasure photographing them as the loving and fun family they are.

Here is the beautiful bunch "chillin' " on one of the beautiful New Town front porches.
And here is Miss Hanna (hope I am spelling that right)....she was so extremely comfortable in front of the camera and it showed in her pics....are you kidding me with this "gorgeous-ness"

I love this picture of Sandy and Hanna, actually my favorite of the whole session. It is my favorite mother/daughter pic EVER. LOVE it!! The look on Sandy's face, so much love and pride...just beautiful. (And I have to say you look like sisters...serious!)

And yeah, Hanna is a Daddies girl...I have 3 "Daddies girls" in my house...the most awesome relationship are girls with their Dads.

Yea, I know we have a few years....but you guys have to call me for Hanna's Senior pictures....we had so much fun!

And next up is Mr. Christian...the guy ROCKS...so funny but also so peaceful. He just seems like such a grown up at his age. And yea Sandy, you are flippin' gorgeous!

Makes me Smile!

Love these of Christian.

Ok, he seriously pulled off my request for a serious look....nailed it!

He has him momma's beautiful eyes.

Stunning in black and white.

Love the "City" vibe of this one.

Favorite family shot.

I mean, how stinkin' cute are these two together....and did I mention.. ummm hello.....teenagers!

This one cracks me up! I wasn't going to put it on here...but I knew how much work it was for Christian to get up there....and look at him, he looks so proud :) And Hanna...my girl Hanna....strikin' her "Americas Next Top Model" pose. Hilarious. And ok, if there are any New Town blog readers....please don't report us ;) We also broke into the pumpkin patch farm thingy...shhhh.

Thank you guys for spending your evening with me....I seriously could of photographed you guys all night long....darn setting sun! :) You guys were truly a pleasure to meet...I love how much love and respect you guys have for each other and it came through beautifully in your photos and I thank you for that.

I love my "Repeaters"!!!

You might recognize the adorable family on the left, they came back for more and brought the adorable family to the right :) I LOVE all my clients but the ones who come back for additional sessions just make my day. It is such a huge compliment and means so much to me....so thank you Ms Jen and Mr Ben for coming back for more and bringing Ben's sister and her family.

We met in Old Historic St. Charles, one of my new favorite locations. Here is the whole group looking as cute as can be! I love how the black looks against the red brick.

And here is Ben and Jen and their 3 adorable kiddos.
I just love these two :) And did I say I love this location! Love it!

These guys look so much more grown up since February...how does that happen??

Some brotherly LOVE. Love the green door...k?k!

And on to Dawn's family.....Dawn is Ben's sister. She smiles a lot...which I love. It must be from growing up with Ben....because he is hilarious! Oh, and how awesome is the ivy wall.

Love :)

You know how I love eyes......this little guy has the most gorgeous eyes.

Dawn's boys just love her...so sweet to see.

Dawn and her girl...she was so sweet, you can tell she is the best big sister and cousin. The leader of the pack.

Ok, I know I always try to pick a favorite with each session. And I just love the next series of three.....my absolute favorites. Who knew ice cream could turn into such a great photo prop!

I wish I had pics like this of me and my cousins when I was little. These will be family treasures...and that makes me smile BIG.

A lil' bit cute......

and a lil' bit crazy!

And I leave you with the picture that makes me smile the biggest. All the boys giving me their best "Power Ranger" moves. :)

Thank you guys so much! Jen, thanks for the repeat business and Dawn, it was so nice to see you again and meet your adorable family. I can't wait for you guys to see the rest. Your CD's are on their way to you.
Happy Halloween!!

Some big ole' family love!

I got a call from Dana asking for an extended family portrait. I was very excited...I know a lot of photographers are nervous by the big groups but I love them. I love watching the family dynamics...the quite sister...the brother that makes everyone laugh...the grandchild that LOVES being in front of the camera.

This family was fun to watch. I could tell right away they were close and that they love their parents very much. The location of the shoot was the childhood home of all three big kids and the home that Grandma and Grandpa still lived. It was located in beautiful Augusta....on I think like 40 acres (give or take). The land was BEAUTIFUL...and it had so many awesome things.....like white picket fences, red barns (yea more than one!) and an amazing soybean field.

Here is the whole gang....and I love that they had these hay bales ready for seating. They were prepared!

And the 4 adorable grandchildren.

And the 3 D's....that is what they called themselves since all of their names start with the letter D. And see the awesome soybean field behind them.....

And the first family is up....this is sister Darla's family. Two adorable little boys....and Darla was so easy going, pretty much let me sit them anywhere. I loved the purple flowers in the background...so I am glad they were down with it :)

And the beautiful couple....I love getting couples alone for a few minutes for pictures of just them. I think it is so important.

Like I said.....adorable little boys!

After a short nap for the little guy, we got the awesome shot below.

Next up is Dana's family. I loved that Todd took the time to set up this spot for them to sit at...I think it photographed beautifully.

The handsome couple :) I LOVE this pic....love love love it. It is my favorite of the whole session. I am sooooo glad they were game for playing in the soybean field. With the awesome colors and the dark sky...beautiful.

And Dana and Todd's two beautiful children. They were so easy to photograph...and they were really really sweet to each other.

What a stunner!! I bet she loves being the only girl :)

Love all the red heads....so adorable!

Then the kiddos took off for some fun in the soybean field.

I had a great time with you guys....and LOVED seeing the beautiful home you all grew up in. I hope you love your pics!
